Staying true to our purpose of ‘Feeding the Nation, Everyday,’ even in tough times.

To Our Esteemed Partners,

With the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria and across the globe, the socio-economic activities and our general way of life in the country have been greatly affected.

These are trying times, but we are positive that with the continued collaboration with our business partners and other stakeholders, this pandemic will be conquered in Nigeria, Africa and all over the world.

As one of the largest Food and Agro-allied Groups in Nigeria, we understand that our role in society is vital. To that end, FMN is committed to our purpose of ‘Feeding the Nation, Everyday,’ and have taken strategic measures to safeguard the health and safety of our employees, suppliers, customers and other stakeholders. This will ensure that our supply chains are not hindered, and we can continue to produce healthy and safe food for our consumers.

In response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), our priorities are as follows:

  • Reduce the risk of exposure of our employees, our partners and other stakeholders as well as, ensure that our products are still available to the millions of Nigerian families who depend on us for nourishment.
  • Guarantee the continuous production of food for Nigerians during this challenging time, and to that end, we have immediately instituted a strategic Business Continuity Framework, and a Crisis Management Plan.
  • Inform all partners and dealers that our capacity to meet the food demands of Nigerians will be safeguarded with all resources available to us. We commit ourselves to ensure that our Golden Penny products will continue to be available.
  • We will work with relevant government offices & agencies to ensure our supply chain remains open.

We will like to inform all our partners, dealers and the public that FMN will continue to uphold the highest food safety standards to ensure that our consumers continue to get the safe and great-tasting nourishment that Golden Penny Foods provide.

Your safety is paramount to us, so we encourage you, and all Nigerians to continue to adhere to the necessary protective measures against the virus and other diseases. Wash your hands thoroughly or use alcohol-based hand sanitizer, practice good personal hygiene, maintain social distancing, stay informed and follow the advice given by the World Health Organisation (WHO), and Federal and State Health Agencies including the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
